Merry Christmas from the Happy Couple!

Mckay and I have now been married for 4 months as of today and we are still very much in love. We have been blessed beyond measure by our friends and family. We thank you all for your love and support. We were both on track this semester at BYU-Idaho. We took a couple of classes together and enjoyed another great semester. It was tough on us as we tried to adjust to married life as well as school and work but we made it through.  McKay got a job on campus in the Faculty Technology Center helping teachers with I Learn, which is the system we use on campus for homework and grades and such, and I kept my job with the ticket office as an usher. We are so blessed to both have jobs on campus where it is convenient.
McKay is studying Economics and would like to go to Law School. He should be able to graduate within the next year or so. As for me, I am still trying to figure out just what it is I would like to study. I am almost convinced that I will change my major from Recreation Management to Psychology. I really enjoy studying the different aspects of psychology. In our English class we had to write a research paper and I did mine on Anxiety and found that I really enjoyed what I researched and I think that has helped me to realize just how much I enjoy psychology. I should be able to get my associates by the time McKay graduates. That will be a life saver once McKay starts applying for law school so I can transfer anywhere without losing credits.
We love our apartment and are so grateful we have a nice place to live. We have been fortunate enough to have the funds to travel a little bit and we are loving life. The hardest thing for us this semester was not having internet at our apartment, so we spent many nights on campus doing homework before going home. We are looking in to getting internet for this next semester.
We are adjusting to married life and we love having family so close to us for support. Mckay teaches Spanish once a week at his Mom’s class at Lincoln Elementary and absolutely loves it. We have definitely seen the hand of the Lord in our lives. We are so incredibly blessed and we are so grateful for all our many blessings we have received. We both have callings in our new ward and enjoy serving the best we can. McKay teaches in the Elder’s quorum and I get to hand out visiting teaching slips to the sisters.
We are doing really well and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas. May God bless you all and may we all see the blessings we have been given and give to those less fortunate. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Bakers!

I found some pictures I wanted to put on last time but didn't so I hope you enjoy them. Here we are baking banana bread and muffins. This was back when we first moved into our new apartment. We brought some muffins over to the neighbors and shared our bread with family. :)
 All ready to bake!

Cutting the bread to taste test!

Yummy yummy!

Welcome to Our New Blog!

I decided to create a new blog for us. I originally merged my old blog to make it ours but I liked the idea of creating one of our own that is separate. I hope you enjoy the new blog! Take care and Happy Holidays!

Married Life

This was us at our Fall Get Connected Spirit Conference
Oh ya we were spirited! Pyramid and all!
 Don't fall everyone!
 Almost there!
Ya.. I wasn't going to climb that high.. haha
This is at Badger Creek. McKay had his reunion a few weekends ago and we had the opportunity to go so we did and we stayed the night. There was so much snow up there!
 Cute little cabin.
Here is Mac before he cleaned off the windshield
 What a stud. :)
Proof that I was there with him. haha
As we all know, Mac loves food and he loves to cook, lucky me! Here is one of his wonderful delicious meals he made for us. Twice baked potatoes! Yummy!
Here are some more recent photos. We had enough snow to build a couple of snowmen so we did.
Gotta love his hat, it's an onion shell. :P
 Out in the cold!
His hat is pretty awesome too, it's a popcorn bag and then McKay provided his sunglasses and I had the idea to use the pine needles for eyebrows.
 pretty awesome snowman no?
 good enough to kiss? :P
 Ta Da!
 Here is the finished product.

Then of course we had to make snow angels. That is a given.
