Big Time Catch up with Summer Fun

I feel horrible about this poor neglected blog. I am so sorry I haven't kept up on here. I have been posting pics to facebook more and more simply because it is faster and easier than trying to upload a bunch here. But I do still enjoy having this blog and I have some time now during the break to catch up.
So we made it through another semester. I am now a junior and I will be on track again for fall and McKay will be off track and will be Mr. Mom once again. We will both be working on campus as well.

This summer so far we have had a lot of adventures. We traveled to Utah several times and we even made the trip to Las Vegas to visit friends and family. The girls were pretty good travelers overall. We also were able to attend the Ogden Temple Open House thanks to Brandon and Marybeth. We went with them and Marybeth's family as well as Dan, Cami, and their son James. We had a great time seeing the beautiful temple and enjoying ice cream afterwards.

We went and spent an afternoon up at warm river with McKay's family at "their cabin." (It's not really theirs but it might as well be. :P) Then this last week we went kayaking up in Ashton at Horseshoe Lake. It was lots of fun. We had a couple run ins with a nasty beetle that scared the jeebers out of me and a little out of McKay but we made it out okay. :P

This summer has been filled with lots of fun memories. Another exciting event was that Brandon and Marybeth moved back to Idaho because Brandon got a new job on campus and they now live just a few minutes from us. It is pretty awesome. We are excited about that.

Andrea and Zoey are now 10 months old and are at least 20 lbs if not more. It has been amazing to see them grow and progress. We love them so much and we love seeing their different personalities come out.
The girls recently found the pots and pan drawer so we will have to keep a close eye on them. They both sit up on their own and Zoey crawls on all fours but Andrea still does the belly scoot. Andrea has recently found her nose and loves to pick it! What 10 month old knows how to pick her nose?! I think daddy must have taught her that one.. :P j/k.
These girls are pretty happy and overall healthy. Brandon and Marybeth recently gave us their old crib so we set it up and now the girls can have their own beds without waking each other up in the mornings or during nap time. We haven't had too many problems, but we have had some so we decided it was time for them to have their own beds.

Well that's probably enough writing. I know y'all mostly want to see pics so I will post some here as well. Enjoy! Thanks for reading.

A Little bit of This and That

Okay, I know it has been awhile since my last post so here you have an update. Andrea and Zoey are now 7 months old getting close to 8 months and they are still happy social babies. They roll around everywhere and get into the strangest spots in our apartment. They especially like to wedge themselves underneath their swings. They are getting really close to crawling as well. Won't be long! They don't have any teeth yet, but those might be coming soon as well. They love to laugh and Andrea sometimes even likes to sing along with people. Grandma Tracie and Grandpa Dean took them to their Aunt's choir concert so Mac and I could go shopping and get some things done and I was told that Andrea was singing along with the choir. Such funny girls. We love them so much.
We have started them on baby food as well and it is going pretty well. Andrea started out being the better eater but lately Zoey has been the better eater. So far they have had peas, squash, and carrots. They just had carrots for the first time yesterday. They are growing and are pretty happy overall. I'll post some pics from Easter and times in between. Hope you enjoy!
